We cannot express how much gratitude we have for all the players in the Albuquerque CLUBWAKA Kickball league. They raised more awareness and money for the Crisis Intervention Team Inc. (CIT Inc.) than we could ever have asked for. At all the fundraising events throughout their season we were able to hear the stories of why they picked the non-profit, their first hand experience with mental heath, and what all they do to help people in need. This league picks a local non-profit each season to raise money for. Their fundraising goes beyond monetary value, which may not have appeared obvious at first. Each season they learn about a new non-profit resource in their community, which gives each player more knowledge in systems and resource to help someone in need. This style of knowledge dissemination can spread quickly raising the standards in communities. The resources raised for the CIT Inc. will help us continue to and expand our outreach to promote Crisis Intervention Team programs and raise the knowledge around public safety and crisis response for our first responders. We would like to thank some of the folks individually who really helped make this happen: Kristelle Siarza AIC General Contractor Siarza Social Digital Eva Blaylock Wesley Torres
