How do you talk about Suicide? Why does it matter? Podcast

Nils Rosenbaum, MD and Matt Tinney discuss the language and culture around suicide. Why do celebrities who die by suicide fascinate us? 
 
The language we use to talk about anything creates emotion around the topic, so our choices of words matter. If you have trouble talking about suicide try to replace the suicide with another illness. What does that even mean? How would you talk about someone who passed from cancer, use that same language when you talk about someone who died by suicide.
