Maybe you are checking in to see where the podcast is, well sorry to tell you we had to skip a week because I, Matt, have the flu. I cannot remember the last time that I felt this sick. I have been in bed for a week and I go from freezing to sweating nonstop. I am sure my wife loves taking care of two babies while I am home.
I am a big baby when I am sick and I don’t know why. I think it is a guy thing honestly. I feel like I am a blob of nasty goop whenever I am sick and I loose the ability to take care of myself. I also like to vocalize my bad feelings often to those around me, in a sick twist maybe hoping they can empathize with me. If you have ever heard a joke about men being sick I am pretty sure it was written with me in mind.
Anyway with the topic of the flu in mind please get your flu shots and practice good hygiene this time of year. That means wash your stinky hands often and when ever you have the chance. Also don’t cough with out covering your month and sneeze into a tissue if you can. Be courteous to others during this time because it SUCKS being sick.

We have a lot going on currently. We are about to embark on a big adventure with the University of New Mexico (UNM) and the City of Albuquerque! It will be the first of its kind and will make a huge leap forward in law enforcement training! We will have more information in the following months about it.
Don’t forget to send us a quick email letting us know what you would like answered or talked about on the podcast and blog. We will answer any of your questions that you have. Hope you all have a great week!
